White Trash Bars

4-Ingredient White Trash Bars

Ingredients:

3 packages (about 280g) Ritz Crackers
1 8oz bag of Skor bits, (reserve 2 Tbsp for topping)
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 16oz cream cheese frosting

Directions:

Crush Ritz crackers in a gallon size zip lock bag with a rolling pin, as small as you prefer. Add Ritz crumbs to a mixing bowl; pour the sweetened condensed milk over top, and mix in the bag of Skor bits. Stir together until well mixed. Dump the mixture into an 8x8 (or 7x11) pan and press down evenly. Bake at 350° for 18-22 minutes or until the edges start to bubble and caramelize. Cool completely, add frosting, then sprinkle with 2 Tbsp reserved Skor for topping.

Cut into bars and enjoy, or put them in the fridge to allow the frosting to set for a cleaner cut into the bars.

Notes:

- Cream cheese frosting can be substituted with French vanilla frosting, melted milk chocolate chips, or no frosting at all!

- If you can’t find Skor bits, Heath toffee bits work too! I prefer Skor in these bars cause they have the chocolate on them. Heath bits don’t!
I had both on hand the day I made these for the photo, I used Skor in the recipe, and used Heath for topping.
