Cherry Brownies


Ingredients:


1 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla 

2 eggs

8 oz candied cherries, halved

3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk


Instructions:


Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a large bowl; set aside. Melt butter and chocolate chips in microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring between until smooth. Mix melted chocolate chips/butter, vanilla, and eggs into dry ingredients until fully combined. Press into bottom of baking dish. Top brownies mixture with cherries, and then sweetened condensed milk. Bake for 28-30 minutes until edges are lightly golden brown. Allow to set up in the fridge or overnight before cutting and serving.
