Mississippi Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 1 4-5 lb Beef Chuck Roast
- 1 pkg dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
- 1 pkg Au Jus mix
- 1 stick of butter, cut into 8 pieces
- 8 -10 pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Brown pot roast on all sides in a frying pan in 1 tablespoon oil and place the roast in the crock pot. Sprinkle with Hidden Valley ranch dressing and the Au Jus mix
- Add the butter and the pepperoncini peppers. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. DO NOT ADD WATER!!Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.Or this roast makes an amazing sandwich! Serve it on a roll with the Au Jus dipping sauce and coleslaw on the side. Yum!
