Beef/Chicken Broth Cubes

Have you noticed that there is 35 ingredients inside one little instant bouillon cube??? Whoa! Eating clean is all about making things from scratch yourself. That way there is no hidden ingredients.

BEEF BROTH: After cooking a beef roast in my slow cooker, I poured the cooled beef broth in an ice cube tray and froze it. {Be sure to pour the broth through a strainer to remove any small vegetable or meat chunks leftover from your roast before freezing.} Now I have salt-free clean beef broth on hand for recipes that call for broth.

CHICKEN STOCK: You can freeze homemade chicken stock the same way. Place a whole chicken in a large pot filled with water to cover; add your favorite fresh herbs and 1 whole head of garlic. Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce to a simmer over medium heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the meat is falling off the bones. Eat the chicken for dinner, and let the stock cool. Pour the liquid through a strainer, and freeze the chicken stock in ice cube trays for later use.
