Asparagus and Browned Sage
Adapted From: Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook
This is a tasty way to cook asparagus. The sautéing sage smells so good and works perfectly in this side dish.
Ingredients:
2 tblsp coconut oil
1 1/2 tblsp fresh sage, minced
2 cups asparagus, diced
sea salt
black pepper
Preparation:
In a skillet, melt the coconut oil over medium heat; add sage and sauté until it starts to get crusty and brown. Add the asparagus to the skillet; sauté for about 5 minutes, or until tender on the inside and crisp on the outside. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
