Slow Cooker Beef Roast

You can't mess up a beef roast in a slow cooker... but this dry mix combination is a very very tasty blend.

Ingredients:

1 (0.87-ounce) package brown gravy mix, dry
1 (0.60-ounce) package zesty Italian salad dressing mix, dry
1 (1.0-ounce) package ranch salad dressing mix, dry
1/2 cup water
4 medium red potatoes, cubed
1 medium onion, cubed
1 (16-ounce) package peeled baby carrots
1 (3 pound) beef roast, any kind

Preparation:

In a bowl, mix the dried mixes together. Place water and three-fourths of the vegetables in the slow cooker; sprinkle with half of dried mix and stir to coat evenly. Place beef roast on top of vegetables. Add remaining vegetables around the roast; sprinkle with other half dried mix. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours, until beef roast is tender.
